What it is

The search mode for location questions. Form business|place|query1;query2, the place first. Measured 22 Aug 2026 on the local questions K1-01, K1-02, K13-01, each with „Munich, Bavaria, Germany" as the place. It runs together with fast and triggers the entity and map output (content_reference type entity/map, widget map_widget or ask_user_location_v2).

For visibility

business is the mode in which local providers appear as an entity rather than a website. What ChatGPT knows about the place (name, address, category, opening hours) counts here more than the site itself. Whoever wants to be found locally works on the place data, not just the website.
